Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are offered to the residents and to the community by appointment. We work with therapists from Select Rehab who provide services that designed to help each person achieve and maintain the highest level of self-care and independence.  Restorative care continues after the formal therapy as an ongoing service through exercises and games.

Physical therapists work on rehabilitating individuals with physical impairments and pain.  Each therapist develops goals and treatment programs to best meet the needs of each resident.   Physical therapists work on increasing strength, mobility, motor control, coordination, balance, range of motion, pain management, and overall safety and well-being for each resident.

Occupational therapists work on functional abilities, daily tasks, and independence with residents, who have been impaired by illness, injury, or aging.  Each therapist develops goals and treatment programs to best meet the needs of each resident.  Occupational therapists work on increasing functional independence from eating to dressing and grooming, wheelchair needs, home assessments, modifications to rooms and homes, access the need for adaptive equipment, and overall safety and well-being for each resident.

Speech and language therapists work on communication, swallowing, and cognition needs with residents.  Specific goals and treatments are formed to best meet the needs of each resident, including those affected by dementia, stroke, and aging.  Speech and language therapists work on improving the abilities of swallowing and chewing, comprehension, speech clarity, and cognitive language skills to help with the well-being of each resident.
